Factory Vastu

Industrial structures need special attention in Vaastu analysis. In an industrial environment, the human potential is exploited to its maximum level - with leadership function, research activity are also to be performed in factories. This balancing act needs a perfect understanding of contribution of each of the Vaastu directions to the overall industrial space.

* Selection of Land

# Factory premises should be square or rectangle (1:2) proportion is preferable for the Northwest and South West corners.

# Main entrance should be in the East or North. It should never be in the South -West. West entrance is ok.

# Raw materials, storeroom, Waste material etc. should be in the South-West corner.

# In the West main office, Laboratory, Administrative office can be arranged. Servant quarters may be in the North West corner.

# Water source should be in the Northeast. The overhead tank should be in the South-West or North West.

# The level of the plot should be low in the North east. Boiler, Fire and electrical items should be in the South-East corner.

# Finished goods should be kept in the North-West corner. Delivery should be given from a door in the North side.

# Heavy Machinery should be in the South side and lighter machines can be installed in the North side.
