Kitchen

The deity of Southeast is Agni, the God of fire. Therefore, the kitchen should be on the Southeast corner of the house. The kitchen having in other directions may cause disturbance in mind, bad health, wastage of money or can cause fire accident. All the electrical items including Gas/Burner in the kitchen should be placed in south -east corner. Don't use black colour in the kitchen.

Proper ventilation or a chimney reduces the Vaastu dosha in the kitchen.
